Made with ❤️ in bulgaria

Born in Bulgaria. Worn by the Stinky Family on five continents — on the mountain, in the city, everywhere in between.

We Rethought Cotton. Here's Why.

Cotton has a reputation problem. Most people in the outdoor world will tell you to avoid it — and with cheap cotton, they're right. It holds moisture, loses shape and leaves your feet feeling damp and tired.

We didn't accept that.

We spent years developing a higher-grade cotton blend that actually works — one that wicks moisture away from your skin, keeps its shape wash after wash, and lets your feet breathe naturally all day long. More cotton, less polyester. The result is a sock that feels soft and familiar, but performs like it means it.

Whether you're hiking a trail, riding a chairlift or just living your day — your feet stay fresh, comfortable and dry. That's not a marketing claim.

That's what we built this around.

You're Not Just Buying Socks

When you wear Stinky, you're part of something bigger. The Stinky Family is a global community of artists, explorers, athletes and everyday people who value authenticity over hype and experience over everything.

Love my Stinky Socks. The merino wool is warm and comfortable. The over calf style is great for winter activities.

Great introduction to merino socks

Got the Light Existence as my first merino sock after hearing about Stinky from a friend. The difference from polyester is immediate. Softer, warmer and no clamminess after a full day out.

A sock for every condition

The Light Existence works across a wider range of temperatures than I expected from a merino sock. Wore them on a warm spring day and my feet stayed comfortable the whole time. Great all round option.

These hold up really well

Been wearing the Light Existence for a full season and the quality has not dropped at all. Still soft, still warm, still fitting well. That is what good merino should do.

Perfect for shoulder season riding

The Light Existence hits the sweet spot for spring and early autumn riding. Not too heavy, warm enough, and the merino keeps things fresh even on warmer days. Great sock for when conditions are between seasons.

More merino than anything else I found

Spent a while researching merino socks before buying and most brands advertise merino but the actual content is pretty low. Stinky has 68% which puts them above pretty much everything else out there. The quality reflects it too. Really warm and soft from day one.

Softer than expected

I had used synthetic socks for years before trying the Light Existence. The softness of the merino against the skin is something you have to feel to understand. No irritation, no pressure points.

My everyday merino choice

The Light Existence has become my go-to merino sock for the mountain. The merino keeps your feet at the right temperature whether you are on the slopes or hiking. The design holds up really well and they wash great too.

Comfortable from first wear

Put the Light Existence on for the first time and noticed immediately how much softer they are than what I was wearing before. Found Stinky through Instagram and these were the first pair I ordered. Will be back for more.

Finally found proper merino socks

I had given up on merino socks after being disappointed by other brands that barely use any real merino in the blend. A friend told me to check the label on these. 68% wool. That is actually rare and you feel every percent of it. These are now the only merino socks I buy.
